The company extracts high quality amphibolite and migmatite deposits located in Piława Górna. Aggregate production is conducted in one of the largest and most modern processing plants in Europe. Quarry production capacity is currently characterized by 7.5 million tonnes annually.

Dolnośląskie Surowce Skalne S.A. („DSS”, the „Company”) is a leading Polish crushed aggregate supplier for the largest national infrastructure projects including first of all the construction of express roads and motorways. The company dynamically increases its share in the market which at the moment is estimated for 8.5 per cent placing DSS among the largest aggregate producers in Europe. The company systematically broadens geographic and product range of its activity.
The Company extracts high quality amphibolite and migmatite deposit containing target reserves of 320 million tonnes of which within currently available for exploitation is 190 million tonnes. Aggregate production is conducted in one of the largest and state of the art processing plants in Europe. At present moment the production capacity reaches ca. 7.5 million tonnes annually.
Basic products offered by DSS include motorway and railway aggregate as well as aggregate used for the production of ready mixed concrete. Major contractors of DSS include such construction companies as Skanska, Strabag, Mostostal Warszawa, Budimex Dromex and J&P Avax. DSS is one of the major suppliers of aggregate for the construction of the A1 and A2 motorways and Wrocław Motorway By-pass.
Strategy development of DSS focuses on gradual increase of share in the Polish crushed aggregate market and introduction to the offer the products based on aggregate.
